The Association of Veterinary Students, seeks to represent, support and engage veterinary students throughout the UK & Ireland. It is a student run organisation for students to promote well-being and an opportunity for students to have a voice within the BVA: British Veterinary Association.The biggest event within AVS, is the AVS sports weekend. It is a weekend long sporting and drinking affair where all vet schools get together at the nominated hosts city for games, pub-crawls and general horsing around in themed fancy dress. It is a huge social event with limited tickets, so keep an eye out for the sports weekend updates.
To become a member of AVS at Glasgow, you will need to first, be a GUVMA member. GUVMA membership fee’s covers the AVS membership.
