The Glasgow Veterinary Evidence-Based Medicine Society, or VetGEMS, is a student-run society aiming at bringing research into the spotlight as a career opportunity for veterinary and biovet students. We also try to share how relevant research is in clinical practice. There are no membership fees and events and opportunities are open to everyone. We facilitate attendance of clinician-run journal clubs and host help sessions regarding things like citing in papers or critically appraising literature.
